What this tool does

Choose one SVG, or up to ten. The page reads each file's own size and shape, then has your browser draw it afresh at the width you pick — 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, or any width you type — so the PNG is sharp at that size instead of a small drawing stretched. The height follows the SVG's own shape, and the result is held under 16 megapixels. See-through areas stay see-through in PNG (or WebP); switch to JPG at the top and they are filled with white or a colour you pick. The SVG is drawn as a picture, so any script in it does not run and nothing it links to is fetched. With several files the first is shown, and "Download all" gives you every PNG in one zip. Nothing is uploaded and no watermark is added.

What happens to your file

Your file never leaves your device. This page opens it, changes it and saves the result in your browser; nothing is uploaded, so there is no copy on our servers to delete.

No AI provider sees it either. The page sends us one count that a run happened — no file, no name, no size. Details on the privacy page.

Questions

Does my file get uploaded?

No. The page opens the SVG, draws it and saves the PNG inside your browser tab; nothing is uploaded and there is no copy on our servers. The only thing the page sends us is a count that a conversion happened — no picture, no file name, no size.

Which width should I choose?

As wide as the place it will be shown, or twice that for sharp screens: 512 pixels for an icon, 1024 for a logo on a website or a slide, 2048 for print or a big banner. Any width can be typed; the height always follows the SVG's own shape.

Is the background transparent?

Yes, in the PNG: whatever the SVG leaves empty stays see-through. If you need a solid background — for a form or a document that does not handle transparency — switch to JPG at the top and choose white, black or any colour.

Why does my SVG look different from how it looks in my design tool?

The page draws the SVG the way your browser shows SVG pictures. Text in a font the file does not carry is drawn in one your device has, pictures the SVG links to from the web are not fetched, and scripts and animations do not run. Turning text into outlines in your design tool before saving the SVG avoids the first.

Does it add a watermark or change anything else?

No visible mark or watermark is added. The file does carry a small metadata record (XMP) saying it was made with filedone.ai with human edits and no AI, with a provenance id.
